This stunning sculpture carved by myself Cameron Livingstone is a must-have for any lover of Barn Owls. Crafted with exquisite attention to detail, this owl sculpture is made from one piece of red cedar wood and features the Barn Owl perched on top of an old wooden stump as if in the wild. Once all the carving has been done the owl is finished using acrylic paints to add to the lifelike detail, glass eyes are also inserted for a realistic gaze, everything else on the piece is all wood. 
 
Whether you're looking to add to your collection of wildlife sculptures or just love owls, this piece is sure to impress. The sculpture is signed on the base by myself and comes with green felt underneath to protect furniture from any scratches.
 
Being that the piece is carved from one block of wood, I have left the natural cracks on the base which happen during the natural drying process which takes approx 3 years before its ready to carve.
