Introduction
My name is Cameron.
My journey began having been brought up from birth in the Ochil Hills Perthshire, it wasn't difficult to fall in love with the surroundings which inspire all aspects of my work. My first hobby was wildlife photography as there was so much right on my doorstep, this led me to fall in love with owls. I relished the challenge of photographing these elusive and mysterious creatures which in turn led me to my first chainsaw carving. Having been an arborist for 20 years a passion was growing inside to turn trees that where damaged or taken down for safety reason to be turned into works of art. This started with chainsaw carving my favourite animal the owl. Ive since been focused on developing my wood working skills and artistry to pursue my passion.

All my wood is sourced locally and consists of various Scottish timbers from Elm, Oak, Cherry and many more. I process the timber from milling the tree to turning it into a finished product. I like to keep things as authentic as possible and let the wood do the talking, adding natural finishes to the wood to enhance the already beautiful grain.

I hope you enjoy looking through my website and don't hesitate to contact me if you have a project in mind or wish to commission a piece.
